A Morning Visit to the Toronto Zoo: My Experience

Hey everyone, yesterday morning I went to the Toronto Zoo and found it to be quite a fun experience. In this blog post, I’ll share some of the highlights of my visit. From the animals, to the food and statues, there was a lot to see and appreciate. Join me as I recount my favorite moments from my time at the Toronto Zoo, and I hope you’ll find it just as enjoyable as I did.

When we first arrived, Sami treated me to a hot chocolate and a Chocolate Chunk cookie from Tim Hortons, which only cost 3.49$ in total for both, Canadian dollars. I only managed to sip about a third of the hot chocolate because I found it to be a bit bland, however, the cookie was a different story β€”it was really good and I wouldn’t mind having another..

I should also mention that there were a lot of famous restaurant chains at this zoo, it’s pretty rare to see restaurants at most zoos. Most of the zoos I’ve visited usually have a cafeteria or cafe where they determine what foods and drinks are served, which usually results in a limited selection of items that are overpriced. This zoo offered a larger selection of alternative food options, so props to them for that, I guess. Some of the selections included Beavertails Trailer, which sells fried pastries and is pretty popular in Canada, Dairy Queen, Savana Snack Bar and Pizza Pizza.

Moving away from the food selection, I must mention that the animals at the zoo were also pretty neat. From turtles and goats to the numerous squirrels roaming around, there was a diverse range of wildlife to observe and enjoy, inside and outside the many exhibits.

There was also a very cute baby rodent of some kind, Sami says it was a baby squirrel, but I refuse to believe that she is correct. Whatever it was, he or she was just chilling, dreaming away next to the tigers, which I didn’t realize were THAT DANG BIG!

Tickets cost $32.95 for adults, and $23.07 for kids under 17. These prices are CAD. However, because this zoo is a part of The Association of Zoos and Aquariums, we were able to get in for 50% off thanks to us having a membership with the Philadelphia Zoo. Parking cost $15 CAD.

And that’s the end, this was one of my shorter blogs and I’m disappointed that I’m ending it so short, but I want to go cook some fried chicken, so I’ve got to make this quick to ensure I get this blog post turned in on time. In conclusion, this was a pretty good experience, and I give this zoo a rating of 7 out of 10. I’ll see you all next time! Thanks for reading my blog!
